Drosera paradoxa forms bright green rosettes adorned with leaves covered in red tentacles shimmering with dew that are highly effective at capturing prey, which the plant then digests to obtain nutrients.
The dew produced by Drosera, commonly known as sundews, is a type of mucilage. This mucilage is secreted by glandular hairs on the plant's leaves and serves to trap and hold insects and other small prey.
Requires consistent warmth and humidity.
*Note to Customers: These plants should be kept saturated at all times and can even be grown sitting in purified, distilled, reverse osmosis or rain water.
