We are aware that there is currently an online debate about whether this plant pictured here is actually a Hoya wayetii or a Hoya kentiana. When we received these from our supplier they said they were told they were wayetii so that is what we are selling them as.

Our Head Grower has done research on this topic and spoken to multiple hoya experts about being able to correctly discern the difference, & it ultimately comes down to the only definite way to correctly ID these is to compare the shape of the corona [part of a hoya flower], as leaf shape and size can vary in both of these species. This means you cannot 100% know that it isn't a Hoya wayetii until you get it to bloom! We have moved one into our showcase greenhouse and will keep you updated once we get flowers!

~Do Not let Hoya sit in excess water. As epiphytes, in the wild they would be growing on tree trunks or branches in the forest understory where they would get most of their water just from dew or moisture in the air.

~Hoya are considerably hardy & tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions, but for the best growth it is recommended to provide higher levels of humidity.

~Do Not remove the peduncles [flower stalks] after your Hoya has finished flowering. Hoya are able to rebloom again & again from the same peduncle!

~Feed regularly during the growing season with a low nitrogen fertilizer containing sufficient amounts of phosphorous and potassium.
