The Alocasia with its rigid leaf shape will grow to a moderate size over time and is easy to care for.
General Alocasia Care Tips:
Light: Bright indirect light is preferred but they can also handle both lower amounts of light and some direct sun.
Water: This plant likes soil that is moist but not soggy. You can allow the top couple of inches of soil to dry out before watering again.
Other: These plants are tropical so they prefer warm, humid environments and may become dormant in the winter if they experience prolonged colder temperatures. You can increase your humidity with a humidifier, misting the plant, keeping it in your bathroom (so long as there is enough light), or by placing it on a pebble tray.
