This is the specialized Aroid soil that we use to grow some of our more particular plants in our greenhouses located in Oviedo, FL.  Plants such as specialty Philodendrons, Anthuriums, Alocasias, as well as Hoyas and Dischidias love this soil! This mix provides better drainage and aeration as well as a larger soil surface area.

 

Approximate ratio:
50% Coarse Peat Moss
30% Orchiata [Pine Bark]
20% Fine Perlite
10% Coarse Perlite


Made of: coarse peat moss; horticultural fine perlite; horticultural coarse perlite; Orchiata; Dolomitic limestone; Calcitic limestone; and a non-ionic wetting agent


pH range: 5.4 to 6.2
