This beautiful sport of Mangave ‘Jaguar' is named for the kaleidoscope of colors on the leaves at any given time. Long, lance-shaped leaves are deep green with creamy yellow margins, with light green narrow center bands and where margins overlap, bright red dots cover the leaves, lined with a thin red edge. 2' tall and 3' wide at maturity. Slender flower stems with manfreda-like flower spikes at maturity that can be snipped off at the base once they've faded and will not affect the health and longevity of the plant as they do with agave. Thrives in full sun where it produces the best colors but will tolerate some shade throughout the day. Mangave are versatile hybrids that tolerate occassional wet or poorly drained soil, as well as drier conditions. Hardy to low 20’s.
